The Old 37 is a restored, antique 1937 Ford flatbed truck converted into a charming beer truck. It combines the glamour of an antique automobile with the craftsmanship of professional woodworking to create a showpiece bar perfect for any special occasion. The truck can serve four full sized kegs of your choice-- all you need is a licensed bartender to serve it up!
o A 1937 Ford 1.5 ton flatbed truck purchased in Carmel, ME.
-It underwent a complete ground up restoration. The body, frame, and interior were restored to like-new condition. Every nut and bolt was either restored or replaced.
o Painted 1937 Ford blue with black fenders.
-A new power plant was installed consisting of a crate motor and matching 5 speed transmission. The rear axle, brakes and electrical were all upgraded to improve safety and reliability.
o Built to resemble a 1937 beer delivery truck with canvas top and sides. Roll up the canvas sides to expose an antique beer box facade. Then, raise the rigid, Douglas Fir awning, and uncover a beautiful bar back.
o The bar back box consists of:
-Three dry storage compartments
-One insulated storage compartment for cold storage using ice
-One insulated storage compartment that can hold up to 4 kegs
-Integrated cold tap, blended gas, beer dispensing system
-Two pull out trays for adding ice to the cold tap system
-100 feet of cold tap coils to ensure beer is cold
-Display shelving; ideal for liquor display or event specific decorating
-Chalk menu board
-A fully enclosed wooden bar with skirt
-Adjustable legs for leveling on uneven ground
-Douglas fir rigid awning for sun cover for servers
-Hanging lights for around the awning
